How to access Vocal Commands:

There are 2 ways you can access vocal commands:

    • Double tap the trigger button,
    • Wait for the long beep, then say the vocal command.
    • After 2-3 seconds, you will hear a chime and the device will respond.

NOTE: The double tap for using vocal commands needs to be quick. When you do it correctly, you'll hear a long beep. If the taps are too slow, you'll hear the shutter sound of device taking a picture. If you find the double tap challenging, use the 'Hey OrCam' option below.

    • Say 'Hey OrCam' followed by the vocal command.
    • After 2-3 seconds, you will hear a chime and the device will respond.
NOTE: If you try the 'Hey OrCam' option and the device does not respond, this means you need to first enable the 'Hey OrCam' feature on your Read device.
