These 3 tutorial videos will help you learn how to identify colors, learn new products and use the orientation feature (currently in beta mode).
For the MyEye Pro features, we recommend going through these video tutorials in the order presented, so you can learn to use your device as easily and quickly as possible. Start with 'Banknotes & Barcodes' and continue with 'Face Recognition', then finally, 'Color Detection, Product Learning and Orientation'. You will find at the end of each section the link to the next recommended video tutorials.

To detect the color of an item with OrCam MyEye, simply point to the area whose color you're trying to detect (similar to the use of the pointing gesture for reading).
Hold the finger in place until you hear the device announce the color.
NOTE: You will get best results in natural lighting.

For some people, product learning requires some patience and persistence to get the hang of it.
For best results:
- Ensure you hold the product in line with eye level. If your head is upright, ensure you lift the product so it's directly in front of where you would be looking and what the camera would pick up.
- Point directly in the center of the product, remove you finger after you hear the first beep and wait for the shutter sound before you repeat.
- It can also help to only move the product a small amount between the 3 times you point and wait for the picture to me taken.

Important: The Orientation feature is currently in beta mode, and is still undergoing development.
- This device doesn’t replace the white cane or any other assistive device that is used for navigation or obstacle detection.
Note:
You can also simply say 'Hey Orcam. What's in front of me.' instead of the double tap before the command.
There are 3 vocal commands for the Orientation feature:
- What's in front of me
- Repeat
- Exit
Using other vocal commands will not work when the Orientation feature is activated.
