Vocal Commands on the OrCam Read are not responding

Please note that the "Hey Orcam feature is disabled by default. 

  1. Ensure that you have updated to the latest software version.
  2. Ensure that  there is nothing covering or blocking the microphone.
  3. Ensure that  the device is not in suspended mode (beware that the device may automatically enter suspend mode after 3 minutes of inactivity).
  4. Ensure that you are saying the vocal commands accurately according to:
  5. Ensure that you aren't speaking too close to or too far away from the device.
  6. Ensure that you aren't saying the voice commands too soon or too late.
