If you are still experiencing issues using Smart Reading please follow the steps below:
- Ensure that the system language and reading language are identical.
- The reading language must not be set to"Automatic language recognition".
- Click here for details on how to change the language on the OrCam Read.
- Depending on the size and style of the print, some headlines may not be recognized by the device as headlines, or some sub-headlines may be identified as headlines.
- If the text is too far away the print size of the article might be too small to be identified by the device ("Unreadable"). As a result, the same article headline will not be identified as a headline because no article can be associated with it (since the article is unreadable).
