A hotspot connection can help you stay connected to the internet while on the go
If you are a smartphone user and wish to maintain a continuous WiFi connection for your MyEye device while on the move, kindly refer to the instructions below for connecting the device to your mobile hotspot.
To connect your MyEye device to a mobile hotspot:
- Turn your mobile phone's hotspot (in the settings menu);
- Make sure you know the name and password of the hotspot network (usually will be shown when turning the hotspot on);
- Go to https://www.orcam.com/en-us/wifiset;
- Type in the hotspot name and password;
- Click on 'Generate,' and you will see a QR code appear on the screen;
- Tap the MyEye device touch bar to scan the QR code;
- When the MyEye successfully connects to your hotspot network, it will announce it's name.
